Architectural Photographer in London
I’m an architectural photographer based in London, passionate about helping companies in the built environment industry document their projects across the UK for the commercial purposes of building the recognition of their brand, boost the reputation of their work, helping them win more high-value bids.
My photographs have helped and continue to help companies both nationwide and around the world to build case studies of their completed projects, to bid for tender applications in the built environment industry, to complement commercial advertising campaigns, to showcase the materials they manufacture, to apply for architecture and design awards, and generally raise the awareness of their brand internationally.
As a London based architectural photographer, I predominantly take photographs for businesses including architecture firms, interior designers, investment companies, building materials manufacturers and more, who use my images to showcase their contributions to modern architecture and contemporary structures and increasing the visibility of their work.
Unlike other architectural photographers, I don't focus solely on working with architects, instead working with a mixture of businesses across the built environment sector as I believe they all help contribute to the architecture industry, with each being as important as the other, and with my expertise in architectural photography, I am able to narrate that very fact.

Studying fine art and photography at The University of The Arts London and always being surrounded by the fascinating architecture that I have seen come to life as London city develops at a rapid rate during the many years I have lived here, helping me to look at the idea of buildings and structure creation as an art form, and for me, architecture photography is the perfect way to share that passion I have for the industry, taking photos of the buildings that inspire me.

Architectural Photography Frequently Asked Questions

After an initial conversation with my client, dependant on the project at hand, I may arrange an on-site visit prior to the shoot date to give me a better understanding of the space and light we will be working with.
Where this is not possible the client is expected to give a detailed project brief providing me with as much information as possible sparing no details and supplying any existing images to help give me a better understanding of the space and the kind of results they’re after.
Together we would then plan a suitable date for the shoot and carry out the works as planned. When the shoot concludes, I then take all the captured imagery back to the studio where it will go through my strict post-production stages, making sure no stone is unturned.
Once the images are edited and completed I will inform the client and send the image pack to the client via email. Typically, the imagery will be emailed to the client via a SSL secure WeTransfer link. Once the client downloads the assets, they will be available in an easy access folder on their device.
Alternatively all images can be delivered to the client on a flash drive (at an extra cost).

Each and every one of my images captured on location goes through a strict editing process.
During the initial photoshoot, a selection of exposures highlighting specific key areas in the frame of the area being captured, from the darkest to the lightest areas, are used to create a single image that is well balanced, not over or under exposed and is as true to life as possible, eliminating harsh shadows and blown out light areas that would be overlooked by most.
Once this process is complete each image goes through a rigorous 15 step editing process which includes white balancing, image sharpening, horizontal and vertical straightening, removal of any blemishes, lens distortion correction, brightness and contrast adjustment to name a few.
Each image on average takes around 45-60 minutes to edit from beginning to end depending on the complexity of the shot to make sure the final product conveys the message perfectly. It is this scrupulous editing process alongside my methodology whilst on-site capturing the shots that sets me apart from most.

All imagery is supplied at a 300px print quality resolution. Alongside the high resolution images I also supply a copy of all the imagery at a web optimised resolution for quick and easy usage online, which when used online will not show any visible sacrifice of quality.

90% of all photography I am commissioned to capture has an average turnaround of 4-5 days, however this can be give or take depending on the complexity of the job at hand during the post production stage.

I have been commissioned for many projects overseas and always enjoy taking in the new scenery and working on projects away from home.
